MARQUETTE -- A Gwinn man, who fled from police after his arraignment last month and then was recaptured, was arraigned again in Marquette County District Court Wednesday.

Troy Luoma entered a plea of not guilty and was appointed an attorney.

Luoma escaped from police custody following his January 26 arraignment.

New charges against him include attempted interference with electronic communication, resisting and obstructing a police officer, and escape from lawful custody.

A preliminary examination for Luoma will be held on February 13.
