ISHPEMING -- The wedding season may not be for a few more months, but planning for it starts early.
Brides and grooms had the chance to browse 25 vendors, from the cake selection to the DJs and the photographers, all the necessities for the entire wedding party. And most importantly, the wedding dress.
A fashion show at the Country Village Banquet Hall highlighted the event with different styles for all shapes and sizes.
"January usually is the time of year when most brides need to order their dresses," said Lisa Sundbald, owner of Enchanted Bridal and Formal Wear in Ishpeming. "They can see everything we have to offer, everything that the entire community has to offer a bride. If you're going to be getting married, spring or summer, you need to order your dress."
Door prizes were also available to those who attended the event.
