HOUGHTON -- A Hancock teenager entered a plea Wednesday in Houghton County Circuit Court for home invasion.

The agreement has 17-year-old Andrew Looper pleading guilty to second degree home invasion, which is a felony.

Looper could face up to 15 years in jail.

Based on his guilty plea, two counts of first degree home invasion and larceny in a building were dismissed.

In court, Looper did admit to breaking into an elderly woman's home, grabbing her purse, and stealing money.

He's scheduled for sentencing in four weeks.
