They still don't have all their trails open but are hoping to open more shortly

NORWAY, MI -- Norway Mountain has officially opened for the year. It was a slow start for most ski areas in the U.P. due to the warm weather. But business is steadily picking up. They still don't have all their trails open but are hoping to open more shortly. And they'll be able to make more snow on Tuesday due to the cold.

"As far as the season is going, we're quite happy," said Mike Gotstein, owner of Norway Mountain. "As far as Christmas week, we have several groups that are in all week; each day we have some groups coming in."

They're getting their usual crowd from Green Bay and Fox River Valley. They also have one terrain park open right now and are working on another one which will soon be ready to go.
