IRON MOUNTAIN -- The recent warmer temperatures may seem nice to some, but not so nice to others.
Pine Mountain Ski Resort had a decent opening weekend, however, they had to close from Monday to Wednesday this week. They're expecting to open again Friday for the rest of the season.
It's not just the ski hill that's affected. The warm weather has been slowing business for the ski shop as well.
"Weather directly affects us and sales are down. We're doing okay though. We hope Mother Nature cooperates and things get better," said Betsy Bittinger of the Pine Mountain Sports Shop.
With cooler temperatures over the next few days, Pine Mountain will be able to generate enough snow to remain open for the rest of the season.
