Anyone looking for a holiday gift was in luck today. A craft show was held at the National Guard Armory in Ishpeming that offered a vast array of items. The craft show is among the largest in Marquette County. The show has been a popular seasonal event for Ishpeming.
It is held annually, with the exception of the last few years when the armory was unavailable. Local crafters were happy to see the event once again.
"We have crafters here from all over the U.P. We're basically U.P. crafters and everything in this room has been handcrafted by some local crafter who does it from their home," said Liz Waters, the show organizer.
Much of the selections were holiday themed and made gift shopping very convenient. The show will take place again next year in the third week of November.
