It's all part of their annual Christmas Tree Galleria that benefits the museum

CASPIAN -- 'Tis almost the season, and the Iron County Historical Museum is getting in the spirit by lining their halls with dozens of Christmas trees.

It's all for their annual Christmas Tree Galleria.  Organizations throughout the county decorate trees from local schools and 4-H groups to hospitals and artists.

But all that decorating isn't just for our viewing pleasure.  It's also for a good cause.  Admission to the galleria benefits the museum.

"All these archival materials are here, and you cannot turn the heat off--you have to keep heating these buildings, so we do need these funds in order to heat the buildings.  As we all know, heating is expensive," said museum volunteer Marilyn Malmquist.

The galleria kicked off this weekend and will run until Sunday, Nov. 20.  Tickets are six for $5 or fifteen for $10.
