MARQUETTE -- The Holiday Inn in Marquette hosted the Superiorland Ski Club's annual Cross Country Ski Swap Saturday.  Dozens of Superiorland Ski Club members and volunteers facilitated the event.

Skiers were able to sell their old equipment and exchange them for other discounted or used items.  Equipment was supplied from a large number of local skiers as well as ski shops selling close-out skis, poles, boots, and jackets.

Superiorland Ski Club is a charitable and non-profit organization.  Proceeds from the swap will support their adult and youth programs.  The ski club also hosts a bike and kayak swap in the spring.
