There are some who are fortunate enough to live a long life, but one Escanaba resident at the Bishop Noa Home for the Aged turned 105 Monday.
Lillian Williams celebrated her special day with friends and family. The Marquette native has lived at the home for the past 11 years, and she's still very active.
Nurses say her hobbies include singing and dancing.
Her grandnieces say her secret to longevity has to be her positive nature and good mood.
"Many times she would always say, live life to the fullest and make sure that you're very positive and that you be good to people and help out each and every one of us that needs help. And always be there," said Lillian's grandniece, Pauline Mayville.
Lillian Williams lives with 20 other residents at the Bishop Noa Home.
