The teens are accused of torturing three cattle

ESCANABA -- Two Escanaba teens charged with torturing cattle at a Menominee County farm will be going to trial.

Nicholas Michael Leisner and Peter John Sauve were arrested in July for the alleged beating of three cattle.

Two of the animals were so severely injured that they were euthanized.

The pair pled not guilty.

A trial date has been set for February 27 and 28 of next year.
