A man arrested in Marquette Wednesday in connection to a mobile meth lab was scheduled to be arraigned later Thursday.

The Marquette City Police have identified him as 37-year-old Andrew Beaudry of Marquette.

Beuadry was found sleeping in a car in the Marquette Holiday Store.

When police responded to check on him, that's when a meth lab was found in the trunk of the car he was in.

Upper Peninsula Substance Enforement Team (UPSET) detectives and special clean up teams were called in to remove the illegal substance from the area.

An unlikely scene Wednesday morning at a Marquette gas station where officials removed methamphetamine materials from a parked car.

A call came in to Marquette police at 6 a.m. notifying them of a man passed out in a vehicle at the Holiday gas station on US-41.

The man, who's name has not been released, was detained by police and is currently being held at the Marquette County jail.

Members of the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team removed and separated the meth components from the car.

According to police, later Wednesday afternoon, a company specializing in hazardous materials will come to the scene and dispose of the material.
