He downloaded over 800 images and over 100 videos of child pornography
MARQUETTE -- An Escanaba man has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for possession of child pornography.
Mathew Elliot Metor, 37, pled guilty to the crime in March.
In addition to five years in prison, he'll serve ten years of supervised release.
Metor used his computer to download over 800 images and 100 videos of child pornography.
The case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation.
