Man arrested after stabbing incident

MENOMINEE -- An 18-year-old man has been arrested for alleged stabbing another man in the back in the City of Menominee around 12 a.m. on Sunday.

A fight broke out between individuals around the 1100 block of 10th Avenue, resulting in knives being used as weapons, according to the Menominee Police Department.

The 18-year-old man is currently lodged in the Menominee County Jail on charges of felonious assault.

The 24-year-old victim was airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
