The U.P. Builder's Association teams up with Habitat for Humanity
ISHPEMING -- The weather may have been a bit gloomy on Saturday, but that didn't stop 25-30 professional builders from lending a helping hand to Habitat for Humanity.
The U.P. Builder's Association partnered with the Marquette County Habitat for Humanity to frame an entire house in just one day. The organizations have been joining together for the Blitz Build a House-In-A-Day cause for years, and this year's project was on Vine Street in Ishpeming.
The group started from the ground up shortly after sunrise and completed the job just before sunset.
