ONTONAGON -- A Houghton woman, who will be going to trial in Houghton County for allegedly writing bad checks, is currently lodged in the Ontonagon County jail.
According to the Ontonagon County Prosecutor's Office, 28-year-old Jennifer Nettell has been in the Ontonagon County jail for more than a month.
In Ontonagon County, Nettell faces charges of forgery, larceny from a person, larceny of more than $1,000 but less than $20,000, false pretenses for the same amounts, and non-sufficient funds of $500 or more.
Her arraignment in circuit court is scheduled for Wednesday.
