Here's a look at what we're working on for tonight's news.

Tonight on your TV 6 Late news, Marquette residents protest Governor Rick Snyder and his plan to cut Union rights. Reporter Kelly Gibbs will be on the streets talking to picketers. We'll hear what they have to say about what's happened over the last two weeks in Lansing.

Also, U.S. Naval Sea Cadets are running through drills with the Coast Guard. They're learning how to operate in extreme cold water conditions. We'll give you an inside look of their training.

And we caught up with U.S. Senator Carl Levin, who has an important message for Michigan residents about the disaster in Japan. He says the Japanese need all the help they can get. We'll tell you how he wants the U-P to help, tonight.
