Governor Rick Snyder released his recommended budget for Michigan in 2012 and 2013 on Thursday, and there seemed to be cuts across the board.
Tax credits were in Snyder's sights as he suggested for the removal of film credits along with others, including the Michigan Business Tax.
One notable place cut in the budget was education, resulting in a near $700 per student loss in K-12 schools.
