CSC suspect back in U.P. jail

ONTONAGON -- The Bruce Crossing man who was arrested in Nevada on December 21, 2010 is now back in the Upper Peninsula.

According to the Ontonagon County Prosecutor's Office, 50-year-old Patrick John Nippa waived his arraignment on Wednesday.

Nippa was arrested near the Arizona-Nevada line on a warrant of fourteen counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and extradited back the the U.P.

He is scheduled to be back in court on March 1.  However, the prosecuting attorney's office said that his attorney is filing an adjournment.

Nippa remains at the Ontonagon County Jail on a three million dollar bond.
