MARQUETTE -- A 19-year-old man convicted of breaking and entering into two Negaunee businesses will not serve additional jail time.

Zachary Miller plead guilty to breaking and entering at Ideal Auto Sales and Kallioinen Scrap Metal Recycling in October.

Friday, after 107 days in the Marquette County Jail, he is sentenced to two years probation and will be released.  He must also pay more than $1,000 in restitution to Ideal Auto Sales, along with court costs and fines.

Marquette Circuit Court Judge Thomas Solka says he feels Miller is truly remorseful for his actions.

"You don't strike the court as being a ringleader, if you will, with either one of these crimes with breaking into businesses with other young people," says Solka.  "You participated, but you went along. But I don't think you were a leader in any of this."

A second suspect in these crimes, 18-year-old Ethan Bertucci of Negaunee, has yet to be apprehended.
