MARQUETTE -- The employees of mBank in Marquette are issuing a challenge to other banks to help a local teen with cancer.

Grant Henriksen, 13, has been battling cancer, and friends of his family have been selling "No Oscar" t-shirts.

The name, No Oscar, comes from the Osteosarcoma bone cancer in Henriksen's leg.

Employees of mBank have purchased the shirts themselves and are encouraging other banks and businesses to do the same.

"We here at mBank have purchased the No Oscar shirts, and we are posing a challenge to our business community and our banking community to support Grant and the family during their time of trial here," said mBank Assistant Vice President Shelby Bischoff.

Proceeds from the shirts will help off-set unexpected expenses for the family.

To purchase a No Oscar shirt, you can contact Paula Lutey through RE/MAX Realty at (906) 225-1136.
