Found the victim at a neighbor's house
DELTA COUNTY -- A 15-year-old Delta County girl is being held by authorities for allegedly trying to kill her mother.
According to the State Police in Gladstone, they were called out to a Baldwin Township home at 2 a.m. on Monday. They found the victim at a neighbor's house with multiple stab wounds.
The woman's 15-year-old daughter was located at the family home and taken into custody.
The teen was arrested for attempted murder and is lodged at the Bay Pines Youth Detention Center.
The victim was taken to Saint Francis Hospital where she is still being treated.
Names are being withheld at this time, and the case has been handed over to the Delta County prosecutor's office for review.
