MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP -- No arrests yet, but state police report they've received several tips from the public, in the homicide investigation in Marquette Township.

The victim, Robert Dusseau, was shot to death on Tuesday. His body was found outside his business, Quick Cash and Guns.

Investigators say none of the tips have panned out, as they search for this man whom they identify as "a person of interest".

He was apparently seen inside the shop with Dusseau late Tuesday afternoon.

He's described as being 35 to 45-years-old, 5'10 in height, and 200 to 220 lbs. He has brown hair, a close-cropped beard, and was wearing silver or gold wire-rimmed glasses.

Police are eager to talk to anyone who might have seen a man walking away from the victim's car---a 2007 blue Pontiac Vibe---between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

An autopsy on the victim was conducted Thursday. Evidence was also secured from the car and the shop.

Police at this point won't say where they think the shooting actually took place.

Thursday February 25, 7:19 p.m.

Michigan State Police have provided a sketch of the person they're seeking in the homicide case of Robert Dusseau.  They say Dusseau was shot and deliberately buried in the snow in front of his store, Quick Cash and Guns, off US-41 in Marquette Township, sometime after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities describe him as a white male between 35 and 45 years old, approximately 5' 10" tall and about 200 to 220 pounds.  The man has brown hair that covers the ears, a close-cropped beard, and he was wearing silver or gold rimmed eye glasses.

Detectives also released a photograph of the victim's car, a blue 2007 Pontiac four-door Vibe with a rear hatchback door with Michigan plates.

"Upon arrival at the crime scene, the victim's vehicle was not present," said Detective Sergeant Detective David Johnston.  "After about three to four hours, it was located within about a mile driving time away from the crime scene, and we want to see if the public can help us identify who may have left the vehicle at the parking spot."

The witness who provided descriptive information was a prospective store customer.

"Our witness approached the store to go in and buy something," explained Detective Johnston.  "When it was closed, he looked in and was directed by an individual he saw inside there that the store was to be closed."

Police say two weapons and two tools were stolen from the store, and there were articles missing from the victim.

Michigan State Police are asking for the public's help in solving this crime.  You're asked to call the Michigan State Police in Negaunee at (906) 475-9922.

There's also a reward of $5,000 posted for information resulting in the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the killing.
