DALLAS (AP) - West Texas drivers face thick fog during their morning commute along with freezing temperatures.
The area is under a freezing fog or dense fog advisory until Wednesday morning. Forecasters warn that visibility on roadways could be down to one quarter mile or less at times.
Cities throughout Texas had sanding trucks ready and closed other facilities early as snowfall threatened to ice roads on Tuesday.
By Tuesday night, the National Weather Service said most of the snow had fallen west of the Dallas-Fort Worth. Wichita Falls, Abilene and other cities got up to 2 inches of snow.
