DICKINSON COUNTY -- The snowy weather is bringing the skiing season back to Dickinson County.

Norway Mountain Ski Resort and Pine Mountain Ski Resort will open their doors to the public Friday and Saturday respectively.

Pine Mountain has been making snow and got a big boost from the blizzard that came through earlier this week.

Even though it's later than last year, Pine Mountain is just happy to be opening its doors.

"It's great to finally get the doors open and we open at 9:00 on Saturday morning and we're looking forward to getting all the skiers out here again," said Chris Mazzoni, General Manager of Pine Mountain.  "We're a little bit late this year, but the snow yesterday has really helped us to get open and we're going to have a great day Saturday, no doubt."

Pine Mountain will have discounted lift tickets all day Saturday and Sunday for its opening.

Many runs will be open Saturday with the resort hoping to open all of them up by Christmas.
