MARQUETTE -- Shoppers around the area got their hearts racing this morning, trying to find the good deals while others got them racing in a different way.
That's because the YMCA of Marquette County hosted their 4th Annual Cardio Buffet.
It lasted almost two hours to go through three different classes. They offered spinning and step aerobics along with yoga and pilates.
It was offered free to members, and instructors say learning some new exercises is the key to staying healthy throughout the holidays.
"We find that variety helps you stay exercising. When you come into a gym and learn new things, it will keep you coming back. If you're doing the same thing over and over again, it does get a little boring," said YMCA Group Exercise Coordinator, Heidi Simon.
The Cardio Buffet also collected canned goods for the TV6 Canathon--five canned goods got you in for free.
