BESSEMER TWP. -- A gas main break in Gogebic County is now under control.

According to the Michigan State Police, the call came in to authorities shortly after 8a.m. Monday morning of a situation near Snow Summit Drive in Bessemer Township.

Personnel from the fire department responded, as well as Excel Energy.

The gas company got the main shut off and remain at the scene to make repairs.

There's been no word if anyone had to be evacuated.

sounds like the gas pipe break is still roaring when you go outside and it is Tuesday morning. Wonder if it broke again?
