ST. IGNANCE -- A 28-year-old downstate man involved in a deadly hit-and-run accident in Mackinac County this summer will stand trial.

A judge in St. Ignace ruled Friday that Dustan Bowen of Sanford, Michigan will be tried on 16 felony charges, including second-degree murder.

Police say Bowen's vehicle hit ten people, killing three women.  Two others were injured in the accident.

If found guilty, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
