GLADSTONE -- A Gladstone man remained in jail Wednesday morning, facing several charges in connection to an incident Tuesday evening.
Just before 6 p.m., Gladstone Public Safety officers were called to a home on South 14th Street for a felonious assault.
During their investigation, they found that the suspect had threatened a family member with a knife, slashed car tires, and tried to prevent the victim from calling for help. They found the man a short time later and took him into custody.
He was arrested and lodged in the Delta County Jail on charges of felonious assault, interfering with a 911 call, and malicious destruction of property.
The suspect's name is being withheld pending an arraignment.
