Short-Track Speedskaters from around the globe are gathering in Marquette this weekend for the World Cup event. Tonight on your TV6 Early News, reporter Jerry Hume talks with some of the skaters as they settled into a routine and competition that gets underway on Thursday.

It's a barn in Bark River that has a lot of history to it. The Fudala Family Farm, where the barn is located is one of 10 finalists in the country to be restored to its original look. But the Future Farmers of America group needs your help. There's a competition through the Campbell's Soup Company, that will pay for the restoration, if the Fudala barn is voted one of the top five. TV6's Jeni Jewell shows us the barn and what you need to do to help the cause, tonight on your TV6 Early News.

The cities of Gladstone and Escanaba have new mayors. Tonight, you'll meet them and the work they each have ahead. That's tonight on your TV6 Early News.
