MARQUETTE -- The five men accused of fraud in the Hawk's Ridge Development in Marquette are due in Marquette County District Court Monday afternoon.

Chad LaVallie, Brian Swift, Ryan Bruns and Mike Gokey are charged with four felony counts of fraud by a contractor and using false pretenses to obtain money from a person, over $20,000.

The fifth man, Joel Westrom, is scheduled to make his first appearance in court Monday.

LaVallie, Swift and Bruns say they're innocent and weren't involved with day-to-day operations.

Today's court session is a preliminary exam.

We'll have the story later Monday evening.
