BESSEMER -- Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort in Bessemer is under new ownership. The resort was bought by Agates LLC.
Bruce Noren is the executive managing member for Agates, which is a company comprised of skiers and boarders.
Noren says they have a strong desire to grow Powderhorn into one of the best ski resorts in the Midwest.
Powderhorn has 33 trails, two terrain parks, ten lifts, two base lodges, access to 17 kilometers of cross country trails, and lodging for more than 2,000.
