IRONWOOD -- An Ironwood man is lodged in the Gogebic County Jail, accused of assaulting a woman in her home.
According to Ironwood Public Safety, the incident happened on September 25.
A woman living on Midland Avenue told police that her home was entered, and she was assaulted.
The victim was treated and released from Grand View Hospital.
On Tuesday, October 27, the 22-year-old suspect in the case was taken into custody on a charge of felony home invasion.
His name is being withheld pending arraignment later Wednesday.
