IRONWOOD -- A 19-year-old Ironwood man is in jail on charges of home invasion and assault with a dangerous weapon.

The incident happened Thursday night.

Police say a Houk Street resident in Ironwood called 911 to report two people wearing ski masks entered his home and demanded money.

The resident said he was assaulted with a knife before the assailants fled on foot.

Police arrested one of the suspects Friday.

Additional arrests are pending.
