MOHAWK -- The Keweenaw County Sheriff's Office is investigating a rash of break-ins at businesses in Mohawk.

According to police, three businesses located along or near US-41 were broken into early Friday morning.  Police say Slim's Cafe, the Whitehouse Inn and Bird's Eye Creations all lost between $150 and $350.  Cigarettes were also stolen.

Police believe the crimes are related to the September 28 break-in at the Wooden Spoon Gift Shop, also in Mohawk.

Anyone with information should contact police at (906) 337-0528.
