Crew is fixing railroad track

ESCANABA -- Danforth Road in Escanaba, at the bottom of Danforth Hill, will be closed for most of Friday.

According to Escanaba Public Safety, a train was on the railroad track when crews noticed some damage to the rails.

It was determined that repairs needed to be done immediately.

Officials recommend that motorists find alternate routes to avoid the area.
