NEGAUNEE TWP. -- An Ishpeming man is hospitalized after a traffic crash on US-41 in Negaunee Township. It happened at 3:05 p.m. at the intersection of Snowfield Road and US-41.
Police say a tank truck driven by 35-year-old Michael Belden of Gwinn was eastbound on 41 when he drove through the median crossing.
Belden's truck collided with an oncoming pickup truck driven by 56-year-old Rodney Wallberg of Ishpeming. Belden was ticketed for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
Wallberg was taken to Marquette General where he's listed in fair condition.
