KINGSFORD -- The 21-year-old Kingsford man charged with felonious assault pled guilty at his arraignment Monday morning.

Travis Michael Finendale was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and aggravated assault stemming from a May incident when he chased his girlfriend with his vehicle, nearly striking her twice.

As part of his plea agreement, the charges were reduced to felonious assault and stalking.

The defense's request for work release was denied.

Finendale will return to court for sentencing on August 20.
