Surfers in Marquette brave the rough and very cold waters of Lake Superior.
MARQUETTE -- The heavy snow and strong winds didn't cause everyone to stay indoors on Saturday.
The windy conditions made large waves along the Lake Superior shoreline which surfers eagerly took advantage of.
Although the season to surf may have been over months ago, these surfers on Saturday afternoon couldn't let the waves go to waste.
Groups of surfers took to the waters along Lakeshore Boulevard in Marquette as onlookers watched in awe.
