Update - Severe weather causes outages, damage in Iron Co.

High winds from Tuesday and Wednesday caused thousands of people to lose power in Iron, Dickinson, and Menominee counties.

High winds and severe weather caused 7500 U.P. WE Energies customers to lose power on Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to the weather Forest Park cancelled classes for the day and Bates-Amasa Road in Iron County was temporarily closed because of debris in the roadway.
