The race will now start at 8:15 Sunday morning and finish on First Street and Mohawk.

CALUMET -- A few changes have been made to the Copper Dog 150 race this weekend due to warm weather conditions.

The race will now start at 8:15 Sunday morning and finish on First Street and Mohawk.

Race organizers say the shorter course and earlier start have been made to protect the dogs in the warmer temperatures.

Volunteers who were stationed south of First Street and Mohawk are asked to move to the end location to cheer the racers on as they finish the race.
