NEGAUNEE -- On Wednesday evening, the Negaunee Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Officers arrived on the scene to find the vehicle parked in the alley between Wenonah Street and Keewaydin Street.

Officers observed the trunk was popped and partially open, and officers could see suspected marijuana in plain view.

The driver of the vehicle and his passenger were later located, and the driver was arrested for delivery/manufacture of marijuana.

He was lodged at the Marquette County Jail.  His name is not being released pending arraignment.
