DICKINSON COUNTY -- It's almost Labor Day weekend, and for folks in Dickinson County, that means it's time to kick off the annual fair.

Fair officials say they have an action packed weekend planned, filled with games, carnival rides, and concerts.

Our meteorologists are promising pleasant weather, and that's good news!

"Well this is an old family tradition fair," says Fair Board President John Degenaer.  "People tend to come here to see their old friends.  And with weather like we've got coming, you've got to come up to the fair."

The fair opens at the Dickinson Fairgrounds Thursday evening at 5 p.m.  It runs all weekend and closes Labor Day, Monday, at 5 p.m.

DaElmer Knows, Iron Mountain: AND...? What's your point? Even restaurants often have one or the other... either Pepsi or Coke products.

Coca Cola will NOT be allowed to be sold ANYWHERE at the fair this year. All vendors were told that if they are seen with Coke, they can be removed from the fair. PEPSI is sponsoring the fair and it is going to be Exclusively PEPSI ONLY!
