IRON RIVER -- A vehicle rollover crash in Iron County kills an Iron River Township man and injures three others.

According to the Iron County Sheriff's Department, 22-year-old Kevin White was heading south on the Bates/Gaastra Road.  The vehicle left the road and rolled over.

White was ejected from the vehicle.  Another of the occupants was also ejected.

That person, and two others, were hospitalized.  None of the injuries, police say, appeared to be life threatening.

The crash happened Sunday morning, just before 5 a.m. about a mile south of US-2 in Bates Township.

Alcohol and not wearing seat belts are believed to be contributing factors in the crash.

people are always going to say negative comments on every subject.

the best thing to do is ignore them and do not respond.

they get there jollies off of offending people and being rude to all. those types of people are not happy with their lives.

i pray for the family and hope everyone heals soon

We all need to heed the warning

While it is sad and true Kevin lost his life a lot more people could have died. A lot of people think that they can drive while their intoxicated. Just because people get away with not getting a ticket or they don't get into a wreck they think it'll never happen. Just like people figure that they arent going to be the ones who become addicted to drugs or alcohol or get terminally sick. Precausion, prevention, and rules to live by for oneself could have preventing this tragedy from happening.
My simpathy goes out to all of Kevin's family&friends

Jean Arthur, your comment was downright rude. We can see the mistake in judgement that he made, but remember that this was somebody's loved one here.

Always alcohol and no seat belt...

When will people learn, don't drink and drive and wear your seat belt. You see it time and time again, the same factors contributing to fatal crashes. It's too late for this young man, but may others learn from his fatal mistake.

Shame On You!

Jean Arthur: Shame on you! A man lost his life. A family lost a loved one. Several others were hurt. Mistakes were made, the price paid. Think what you like, but keep it to yourself. My thoughts & prayers are with family of all those involved.

You will be missed.
