Three Gogebic County men are arrested for home invasion.

GOGEBIC COUNTY -- Three Gogebic County men have been arrested for their alleged involvement in several break-ins.

State Police responded to a call of a breaking and entering in Bessemer Township early Saturday morning.

A suspect was found in the area, a 19-year-old Ironwood man.  He was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and home invasion.

A second suspect, a 24-year-old Bessemer man, was also taken into custody, after he returned to the area of the break-in to look for his car.

Police later executed a search warrant at an Ironwood residence and arrested a 22-year-old Ironwood man for home invasion.

Police say at least six hunting camps have been broken into, and they will continue their investigation with the three suspects now in custody.

There is a plague of these break-ins going on here. It's sad. Most are repeat offenders. In Iran they chop off a hand and if they do it again they lose the other hand.
