SOUTH RANGE -- A South Range man is dead after an accident in Houghton County.
The Houghton County Sheriff's Department says they were called out to South Erickson Drive in Atlantic Mine around 10 p.m. Thursday night.
A 61-year-old motorcyclist had crashed. He was taken to Portage Health System for treatment.
He was later pronounced dead.
His name is being withheld pending notification of family. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
