MARQUETTE -- A three million dollar loan is heading for the Marquette County History Museum.
Congressman Bart Stupak's office says the money is coming from the Rural Development Fund through the Agriculture Department.
The money is for renovating, owning and operating the new museum, which is the old MarqTran building on Third Street.
The funds will also provide programming for the museum and an expansion of the research library.
The Quincy Mine Hoist Association is getting $215,000 to restore the engine house in the Keweenaw National Historical Park.
