MENOMINEE -- Two Menominee County men are awaiting extradition to Wisconsin after allegedly robbing a bar in Marinette.

The two suspects were captured just across the border in Menominee shortly after the robbery Monday afternoon.

Patrick Erickson, 20, and George Jardeen, 18, are being held in the Menominee County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Marinette Police say a masked man walked into the Back Again Bar in Marinette Monday afternoon and demanded money.  Police aren't saying what type of weapon was used.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Menominee County Sheriff's deputies caught up with the pair after witnesses gave a description of the getaway car fleeing toward Menominee.

Bottom line here is like someone else said, the drugs are the problem! Police think lets put everyone in jail and that will fix it, but it wont! Why not help anyone who needs and wants help getting off the drugs. We really need to make it easier in this area for people to receive help, even if they dont have money or insurance! Poor scotty! I dont think he should go to jail or prison, I think he should go to rehab! So many good people like scotty are going to jail because they got into drugs and did stupid thing. Lets help the people that need it and it will reduce the crime and good people wont be spending there life in jail!

I know him very well.

Scotty is a good friend of mine..and he was a great person.. You people need to start looking at why so much of this is going on in this area. Locking people up isnt going to solve it. Its the drugs. Something needs to be done

I KNOW ERICKSON
