FRANKLIN TWP. -- Two Houghton County women are recovering after a crash in Franklin Township Sunday night.
According to the Houghton County Sheriff's Department, the collision happened on US-41 at the Airport Park Road intersection.
They say that 68-year-old Ambra Beaudoin of Hubbell failed to stop at the intersection. She pulled into the path of 60-year-old Charyl Johnson of Laurium.
Both women were taken to Portage Health for treatment.
While the crash continues to be investigated, authorities say that alcohol is not a factor.
