QUINNESEC -- A Kingsford man was killed in a traffic accident shortly after midnight on Thursday morning.
He's been identified as 23-year-old Matthew Larson.
Authorities say the driver was headed east on Lincoln Street in Quinnesec at a high rate of speed just moments before the accident. The vehicle ran through two stop signs at Quinnesec Street and Lake Avenue, then entered a ditch, became airborne, and landed in a vacant residence at 830 Lake Avenue.
A deputy arrived at the scene to find the driver inside the vehicle. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff's Department continues to investigate the accident.
