Assault charges for an Iron Mountain man

IRON MOUNTAIN -- An Iron Mountain man was arraigned Saturday in Dickinson County District Court for felonious assault.

Thirty-eight-year-old Richard Tolliver of Iron Mountain has been charged in a incident Friday afternoon.

Tolliver is alleged to have assaulted a man with a two by four. The 42-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, received a head wound and several other injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Tolliver was released on a $10,000 cash bond. A July 8 preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
